Grand Marquoir Finished

Well here it is....my Grand Marquoir by Isabelle Vautier is finally finished. I began this project in March and I finished it on November 22nd. This project was stitched on 28 count Ivory evenweave and I used DMC 312 for the main color and DMC 334 as the accent color.

Here is a close up of just 2 of my favorite blocks. There were so many wonderful blocks to choose from, but I have to say these 2 are my most favorite. This was a wonderful project and I want to say many thanks to Isabelle Vautier for offering this great free project.

Well done Amanda, it looks amazing. I finished mine up this weekend too, and I was almost sorry to put the last stitch in, it was such a pleasure to stitch.

It looke great, Amanda. I'm hoping to work this beautiful sampler soon. I'm curious as to its total size, and if you worked over two threads or over one. Could you comment, please? Thank you. Judy Johnson

JudyJo,

This sampler is 250 stitches wide x 376 stitches high and I stitched this with 2 strands of threads over 2. Thanks for commenting!
