I dug this old project out of the UFO pile and started working on it again. It is Cottage Garden from Country Cottage Needleworks. I think I started this project back in 2010 during the Winter Olympics. I had done all the borders and Violet before this project was put onto the back burner. I dug it out over the weekend and was able to complete the Cottage Garden and Bluebell squares and started on Peony last night. I can't believe how quickly this is stitching up. I can't remember why I did not complete this project back in 2010! I'm stitching this project on Wichelt's 28 count Lambswool using the threads called for.
My goal in 2012 is to have a lot more finishes. I tend to start more projects than I finish, but this year I plan to dig out old projects that I haven't worked on in a while and get them done. I've made a promise to myself not to start something new until I've finished an older project.
